My prediction for NY. If we see a large number of people leave, NYC may become more affordable and unemployment numbers may drop both in the short term. The people there will be pleased with themselves. But it would never work outside of the city. And a slow decay will set in.
@ApexSeeker_ Hard to say. Tragic is likely the best option but that is only in a vacuum. Once you open up more details about how the Japanese military treated civilians, its not so easy to see it as tragic.
