Racist Mississippi police chief used the N-word in leaked texts, then tried to resign. The board said F*CK NO and fired him.

One text: he had a “racist moment.”

Another: he “almost beat a n*gger a few minutes ago.”

Another: he had been saying the slur loud at home and hoped the neighbors heard it.

This is the same department still under investigation after a white officer shot 1-year-old KOHEN WILEY at a Walmart in June. That officer already had complaints for racist language. Vanderford was the boss.

He didn’t get to walk out quiet. They put it on the record as a firing.
