Liverpool plan to make a quick appointment with Andoni Iraola the standout candidate and clear favourite for the role. An agreement could be reached before the week is out. #LFC want to have their new boss in place by the start of the World Cup, at the latest.

Negotiations are expected to move fast, and there is a strong chance Tommy Elphick also joins #LFC.

As revealed yesterday, there is also appreciation for Pierre Sage, a Crystal Palace target, and Sebastian Hoeneß. Yet Liverpool's primary focus in on agreeing terms with Iraola, who is also keen on the role.🔴
