@AlexDaugherty1 Idk, did you envision the plan being glass/Novak/parssinen/sissons down the middle? Because if you can slide juuso or Novak over to the wing and slot ROR in 2C/3C, that's an immediate roster upgrade IMO.
@AlexDaugherty1 I like it. A guy like ROR who can show the kids how to win and how to build a winning culture makes a lot of sense. Not to mention he's still a good player at that number.
@MGsports_ IMO it gets worse: Bowman was still trying to win when the Jenner & Block report got him canned. Hawks commit heinous actions -> J&B report -> hawks front office cleaned out -> new FO actively tanks -> tank works, hawks land bedard. It's a direct line of dominos.
@BryanBastin@AlexDaugherty1@OnTheForecheck@WillyD1025 @PredsOnBally @PredsNHL@RenegadesOfPuck I've said it before and I'll say it until it's no longer true: Johansen is the best center in franchise history. The cup run doesn't happen without him, and if he wasn't injured for the finals the Preds probably would've won it.
Phil Tomasino has 12 pts (4 gls 8 ast) in his last 10 games for Milwaukee. He's at nearly a point per game this year, after already proving last year he can score in the NHL.
There are zero excuses at this point why Tomasino isn't on the Preds. Any other team would bring him up.
.@jjmid04 puts forth the case that the #Preds' handling of Eeli Tolvanen represents several big problems plaguing the team. | #Smashville https://t.co/QuGRO8AvH9
I’m glad John Hynes — a head coach known around the league for “developing young players” — has continued his terrible track record of developing young NHL players. #Preds#Smashville
@AlexDaugherty1 Yeah you're right, it looks to me like Smith is playing the absolute best hockey Smith is capable of playing. I just have to wonder where our higher ceiling guys (Glass/Tolvy/Tomasino) would be if they were given the same chances to fix their mistakes that were given to Smith.
@hankgreen I used the homework answers a ton in college. Is it academically honest? No. Do I feel bad about it? Also no. If I can find my entire class's worth of answers on chegg, that's on the prof for never changing the homework/test questions. Work smarter, not harder, right?
@AlexDaugherty1@SCSNSH Even if they're dead set on keeping Tomasino in the AHL, they could try:
Fil-granny-duchene
Nino-joey-jeannot
Trenin-glass-tolvy
Sanford-sissons-sherwood
PP1: 9, 64, 95, 84, 59
PP2: 22, 92, 8, 28, 45
@AlexDaugherty1 I mean... Constant penalties, uninspired offense, lazy defense, apparent lack of effort... Those are all coaching problems, right? This looks a lot like the performance that got lavy fired.
