If you have made it through 6 six months of training your obviously able to overcome your ego because you have surly been humbled by now. In the beginning that is one of the hardest parts. Now comes the perpetual GRIND. There will be days you feel like you have learned absolutely nothing and there will be days you feel like you really got this. Stick with it. Especially at that 2 to 3 year mark because it seems to be the biggest fall off. The path isn't easy but it is rewarding. Lastly, help others. We were all new at one point. Pass your knowledge to those new students and by helping them get better, it will make you better.
@7_investor Burn out is real. I think training 2x a week right now is good so you can at least maintain. Capitalize on the extra free time and just go enjoy some other things that don't involve jiu-jitsu. Mentoring the younger generation brought my jiu-jitsu OBSESSION back with vengeance.
