A 20-minute mini clinic on running a morphing 1-3-1 zone from Coach Nick Pasqua. How to switch from 1-3-1 to 2-3 zone to M2M in one possession! A lot of other great teaching points. Film included. https://t.co/5HQZcfZUUq
Press Breaker Warmup Drill:
Groups of 5 players execute 5 trips up and down the court using each of our four press breaker entries and a press breaker special
On each inbound the group will reverse the ball one time before hitting the middle or throwing a long scoring pass
"12" | Ball Screen Continuity against a 2-3 zone
The corner touch is a reset for the offense, creating the continuity to ball screen the return pass out of the corner
Love this drill
Defensive minded coaches love Deflections but in order to get good instincts you have to work on it
This drill teaches a player how to anticipate and react

I’ll never forget @CoachVenables rolling us after practice one day my senior year. It was the closest I ever got to quitting football lol.
I’ve always told myself that if I was the LB coach one day, I would pass it on. & within my first two weeks, one of the LBs got too many parking tickets.
So, the legacy continues. Had to set the tone early.
What’s the worst punishment or conditioning you’ve been put through? Don’t worry, I won’t steal your ideas…👀
