2 years ago I got to start the journey of pursuing my Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Friday I graduated and don’t regret a single step along the way. Best support system any guy could ask for.
Teams & patients I work with get to have even more confidence in their plans🤍
Small hinges swing big doors, big hinges swing even bigger doors.
Get absurdly good at hinging and watch your guys get incredibly strong.
Simple ≠ Easy
@thefootballgirl It’s an agreeable statement that when playing larger schools, athletes need to be in better shape to match the competition pull from larger schools. But yes, there is a better way of doing things.
Every high school football team in America will soon begin their summer workouts.
I’m here to discourage as many coaches as I can from having their players run 20 110s as I possibly can.
Player health > “We’ve always done this”
@Buddunnbud@OfficialCJLeak Actually injuries are relatively consistent despite having more explosive athletes with more speed, power and strength across a longer playing schedule all while playing on artificial turf with a much more rigorous medical evaluation process for even minor injuries
It's my hope to one day convince coaches and athletes that they DO NOT need to condition like this. Over the last 30 years, despite being open minded, I remain convinced more than ever that this is detrimental to elite performance and causes much more harm than any alleged benefit.
THERE IS a better way.
@mdwilborn30 I’ve played plenty of sports. Playing history has nothing to do with the topic. What part of running mindlessly in a straight line for 110yds is important for being able to think, react, and give 100% effort at maximum speed?
@CoachJimmieSlim Rather a better answer. Both matter. With a high quality program and nobody caring you get nothing. With a terrible program and a ton of effort you get a lot of misdirected effort and still nothing
