As GPs, some of whom also work in both NHS and private Neurodevelopmental clinics, we understand these issues from both sides, and envisage ourselves playing a key part of improving patient services.
Well done to all the ND advocates who went to Parliament yesterday to help push forward the 'Neurodiversity Screening and Teacher Training Bill'.
The news has not been full of positivity for the #Neurodiversity#Disability communities recently so this is a much needed win.

@MattHancock Please use this as an opportunity to also educate about ADHD. 50% of people with Dyslexia have ADHD and this should form part of any new school screening initiative.
@MattHancock@BabatundeComedy@seannwalsh@imacelebrity 50% of dyslexic people also have ADHD and vice versa. We should be screening for both at presentation. We must jointly tackle the stigma around ADHD and ensure schools, higher education settings and employers have adequate training and awareness of both.
