In a remarkable display of leadership and dedication to the arts, Michelle L. Bonton, Executive Director of the #ACA and esteemed board member of @txforthearts, has played a pivotal role in securing a substantial $2 million increase in Harris County’s Arts & Culture budgets.

The new name pays homage to the family of Anderson Center For The Arts Founder and Executive Director, Michelle Bonton, who has been an advocate for implementing cultural arts in Unincorporated East Harris County for almost 20 years.

Harris County Cultural Arts Center is excited to announce a significant milestone in its journey as a cultural hub for the community. The center will be rebranded as the Anderson Center for the Arts (ACA)
