In 2005 I was sentenced to the IPP. I wish to share a true insight into my past, present and future experiences of the disgusting sentence and the madness of it
My first blog please take the time to read & remember this beautiful soul who didn't want to suffer anymore 5 years ago today. It's time for this IPP to stop taking lives & ruining lives. #justiceforipp#endipp please share

Whole under there care despite all the evidence!? I was denied proper healthcare while inside under their care & only when released I was finally given an x-ray & scans etc before having to have surgery which took a year to recover! Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks
Can anyone recommend a decent prison injury claims solicitor for me please? I was with Jeffries who then turned into express who then passed the case to Nelson's who have refused it as the prison denied responsibility of me breaking my ankle & rupturing 3 ligaments in my ankle
@LeroySkeete The probation service isn't fit for service. It needs tearing down, investigated from top to bottom & rebuilt completely different to what it is now. In the 24 years I've had with probation I cannot name one thing they helped me with, name 1 good experience or 1 benefit.
@Hope_for_IPP I didn't fight for my freedom! Wonderful people like @UNGRIPP & other campaigners did this. Without them nothing would have changed that's for sure
Completely free man! I was expecting to feel happy but all I've felt is sadness on reflection at all the years this IPP has taken from me. The stress it has caused my family they've been through it all with me. For me today is nothing to celebrate it should of never of happened
It should have been rectified over a decade ago not drawn out for this long. I could see way back in 2006 the IPP wasn't working the system couldn't cope & that everything wasn't in place to implement it nothing changed! At least now I can tell my story without fear!

To the 1,800 IPP prisoners that will not have the weight of the IPP licence on their shoulders from today 1st November 2024, we wish you well in trying to rebuild your lives.
@JamesTCobbler@ShabanaMahmood you have not only terminated the licence overnight from these IPP prisoners but you also slowly terminated their minds, wellbeing, personality, health, and much more. Dont expect these people to be ok overnight just because the IPP licence is terminated off them. Not all will ever be ok again. This is something that should have been done years ago.
Should Matthew who was just a 16 year boy when he got the IPP be returned to prison. Please reply YES or NO. @JamesTCobbler we are saying NO.
Separating him from his children. He hasnt committed a crime.

@MoJGovUK How about you speak to someone who has been through the system for 18 years knows it inside out, knows what needs to be done, what needs to change & what real rehabilitation is not the crap you do now. Talking from experience
Last night was my last probation meeting! First time I've not had to go again in 24 years to the worst run, sadistic & power tripping organisation I have ever known! It needs investigating & to be reformed to do what it was set out to do. #endIPP
A father trapped under an abolished indefinite jail term has made six attempts on his own life after serving 25 times longer than his original sentence
This madness has got to end

37 days to go until I can talk openly & freely about Probation, parole boards, recall & the prison service without fear of recall after 19 years spent on the torturous IPP sentence!
"A welcome first step towards correcting the lingering injustice of the discredited IPP sentence..."

🚨HUGELY IMPORTANT UPDATE
No one should spend 12 years in jail for stealing a mobile phone!
I’m backing fresh attempt to resolve the #IPPscandal once &for all by supporting a Private Members’ Bill by Labour peer Lord Woodley for resentencing
Let’s end this monumental injustice
