I'm going to be completely honest, I think it is better to just end the competition for this year. I'm deeply sorry to the people who were excited for their nominations this year, but in all honesty, these awards have been more complicated to do, both because of how the fandom--

@ProcyonArkadios I absolutely understand it, but it seems so... low, like I said? Like why does it matter now that you want to defend someone else? It didn't matter two days ago?

"Oh so (x) can be in the competition" "why is (x) still there then" Please tell me? I cannot guess who is who and what you accuse them of if you only come up to talk about it now that you are upset when I CLEARLY stated you should do so the minute you see it.

@ProcyonArkadios @viollynt Me neither, it just doesn't seem like it's my place to talk about it and show things I can't because I don't want to affect anyone any more than they already are on both sides, I wish it is fixed soon but right now I will take a step back.

With the recent situation with the nominee @viollynt, the number of people that have reached out to me to tell me about their discomfort, and after talking to the ones involved in private (and some others that saw it happen), we have decided to take Nilo out of the competition.

@krissibarks Thank you, I've ultimately decided to end the awards for this year now. I will retake them next year hopefully, but I'm not in the right mindset for this and no one seems like it either, I should've read the room better, I'll work harder next time.

I don't even know why I'm still shocked by this fandom's ability to create a problem from literally anything, the point of these awards was to have fun and chill and appreciate the fandom, not all this.

I'm not doing well currently, I went through a traumatizing experience just a few days ago and finished my medschool term the same day, I'm exhausted. I will answer all the questions you have and see what I can do for you, but this is all for now, I'm sorry again.

I truly hope that we can do this once S2 starts, and I will do it again with all the love in the world. I will do my best to still do the cosplayer and artist showcase because I know some have asked for it too, and I promised I would do it, but this is where I take a step back.

This only comes out as immature and low, how does it only matter now? Tell me when you see it, approach me and say it, how do you expect me to solve things if you don't tell me about these things?

the threads and polls and all that stuff and everyone knows about it, everyone knows. What do you people want me to do? Say this is a safe space and then invalidate what other people tell me? Expose things people trust me with in private? Not talk to the people accused?

@ProcyonArkadios @viollynt Please think that if you trusted me with information and asked me not to show it, I wouldn't. Nilo just posted a thread on her side of the story, you can go ahead and see for yourself. I genuinely don't know what else people want me to do.

@ProcyonArkadios @viollynt Which, again, is why Nilo will talk about this later outside of the awards. I don't know if you read, but I mentioned the proof that was sent to me, and the conversations we had were had in private.
