@alsoabhijeet@Pvthaibhai That's a really poor take. Have you forgotten his knock in the 2019 wc sf? Also look at his stats from the 2021 ODIs in australia and then talk. Axar has achieved nothing in ODIs so far to merit a place over Jaddu.
@CricCrazyJohns Dropping Jadeja makes no sense. He's always been an asset in ODIs whether it is cameos with the bat or bowling economical spells. No way they think Axar is a better option in this format.
Surya showing his class with that post-match presentation. Amidst all the drama, let's not forget that the players have no say in boycotting matches and only go by BCCI's orders so they shouldn't be made scapegoats in all of this. They deserve nothing but our support.
#INDvsPAK
@subhankarhaldar@debasissen What's the point of speed if you don't have control over line and length? Arshdeep has good swing and control which makes him a better option.
@mattylufc_ Nah, England can't keep getting away with their petulant behaviour . They have a long history of whining and changing the definition of 'morals' when things don't go their way. Quite fitting that they are led by a person who's known for being a crybaby on and off the field.
@Dheeraj351@mufaddal_vohra Yep. Also feel he has the ability to generate the most swing out of all our bowlers. He can trouble both left handers and right handers.
@JoeDaveo @ESPNcricinfo Sledging for what exactly? It's not as if they were trying to get the batters out, they were just taking out their frustrations on them at that point because they wouldn't accept the draw. Meltdown or not, it certainly didn't paint a good picture of sportsmanship.
@dre_parmour@tickerscricket I doubt England would've accepted the draw if they had two batters in that position, which is why they looked like a bunch of self- righteous fools ganging up on Jadeja for his refusal. And what's wrong in going for your milestone when you've already saved the game for your team.
@JoeDaveo @ESPNcricinfo There was indeed a meltdown. All the England players ganged up on Jadeja and started throwing insults for declining the draw. That meltdown honestly spoke so much about their fragile egos and double standards.
@Silly__MID_ON @ESPNcricinfo Ironic coming from a Pakistani since your players are known for being statpadders. Your team literally lost to Bangladesh so pipe down.
@ricardodafc@chiku_187 You missed India saving the match from 311 behind, two down for none, batting on a day 5 pitch, and frustrating England to the point they had to beg for a draw. Also, Stokes is one hell of a crybaby.
@exile_1991@chiku_187 Seeing as India was 311 behind, two wickets down for none, and had to bat on a day 5 pitch, it's nothing less than a win. Plus the moral victory that comes from frustrating the hell out of that crybaby Stokes who was forced to beg for a draw.
@tomdean93@Wean__007 Well they can still level the series which would mean they retain the trophy having won it the last time. I'm sure they wouldn't mind that.
@tomdean93@Wean__007 Getting 10 wickets in 20 overs or even 30 overs would've been clearly impossible given how flat the pitch had become and besides why would India want to unnecessarily tire out their fast bowlers for such an unlikely chance at victory.
@tomdean93@Wean__007 Difference is one guy is batting at number 7 in alien conditions whereas the other is batting at 4 in home conditions. And if you think any outcome other than a draw was the best possible one for India when they were 311 behind after the first innings, you have no game knowledge.
@ESPNcricinfo What a befitting reply to all those sledges directed at him by England led by their crybaby Stokes. He's batted better than all the England batters this series and seems like their fragile egos can't handle that๐
@ESPNcricinfo What a loser attitude by England. Offer a draw when two batsman are clearly nearing their milestones and then act all offended when India refuse the draw. Hope India makes them sweat it out another hour and get them even more cranky.
