At the point where I close one eye to reduce input to balancing algorithms to coalesce around a single quaternion. I don't blame the Mt Dew/Mayo/habenero tequila for this. This is truly my core being allowed to flourish in the face of nay sayers.

So now the 5yo and I are in a junkyard trying to find an invisible guinea pig with wings that breathes fire. Wish us luck!

Recently read "Legends & Lattes" by @TravisBaldree and thought a mundane Blades in the Dark-based game could be fun. Everyone is a retired adventurer opening a mundane business and handling everyday problems with a fantastical bent.

The business faces problems ranging from simple issues like a tulip vendor running out of bulbs to something for more serious like your building not being zoned for elemental plants and needing to convince the gnomish planning commission to rezone.

Special Abilities channel skills of the adventuring life. A former druid might change shape but using the ability comes at a cost. Maybe the form is monstrous and scares away customers. Even a partial success still reveals something about the character's past.
