WE GOT BLESSED AGAIN BY AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL IN MODESTO! 🇺🇸🙌
Today an incredible American friend took our whole family to Costco showed us the magic of those prices that still blow our South African minds and just spent time getting to know us. What a joy! We laughed, we talked, we felt the warmth of real American hospitality.

Then she asked what we were doing tonight. We told her we were packing for Texas because this is our LAST night in Modesto. She looked at us and said, “Nope. I’m not letting you leave on an empty stomach.”

Next thing we know she’s booked and fully paid for a proper feast at @fuziomodesto!

We tried to protest (it’s too much!), but she wasn’t hearing it. And brothers and sisters… that BURGER! My word! It tasted like the first proper meal I’d had after being lost on a desert island for 20 years. Juicy, packed with flavour, absolute perfection. If you’re ever in Modesto, go to Fuzio and order the burger. You’ll thank me later.

Modesto, you have been good to this Afrikaner refugee family. From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU.
But now… the road calls.

Tomorrow we head HOME to Texas!
