Losing weight is a marathon, not a sprint. If you lose weight too fast it also increases the risks of gaining it back.

Joycon drift is pretty easy to fix with a special WD40 electrical contact cleaner spray. Don't use normal WD40 though. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube!

My kids also always seem to have problems with their controllers, while mine are still the original ones. No problems at all with those. So to answer your question: They are generally crap, but if you take good care of them, they won't break down. So it's a combination of questionable quality and... well, kids! Hahaha
