Loved listening to @pchh@lindaholmes review of @Fast10Film The talk about race & the films' use of Tyrese & @Ludacris ignored that @TheRock is black man & that Vin Diesel is multiracial. These movies have put diverse actors center stage in multiple ways beyond being comic relief
Under this logic Harrison Ford isn't a movie star b/c he got his break playing HansSolo & @IndianaJones or @Schwarzenegger isn't a movie star b/c he played The Terminator. The MCU isn't the first movie franchise to cast actors into iconic characters.
Quentin Tarantino says MCU actors are not movie stars
"you have all these actors who have become famous playing these characters. But ... Captain America is the star ... Thor is the star"
This thread hit me hard...that's the hardest thing about facing trauma at a young age. The world moves on, but you are forever changed. Your innocence is gone and you spend the rest of your life trying to figure out how to cope with what's left behind.
Anyone whoβs impacted by gun violence or any other shocking death is traumatized by that day, by that experience, forever. You have to do deep trauma work to move on from the age that it happened. Work that involves your heart, your body, your small children self.
Buyer beware of the 2022 @Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Mine stopped charging & @SRobinsonCDJR took a month to give me a service appt. I spent a week w/out my car & no loaner. Now we're in week 2 & they still haven't fixed my car & now @Chrysler won't pay for a rental car equal to my Jeep
