Hey @TimSweeneyEpic, I would love to be able to send gifs of my @fortnite outfit s and emotes to people via a third party app like GIF keyboard! Is this possible?
@AndreBaltaEpic@ShiinaBR@NickEh30@Fortnite Would love some options in UEFN for extending lunging distances. With being locked in you can’t go as far so you end up whiffing a lot of really clean hits!

Before I get into this thread, I want to say something.
I’m honestly tired of feeling like I’m constantly shouting into the void about these issues. I would much rather spend my time creating and/or supporting the ecosystem.
But I also believe that if you care about something, sometimes it’s better to speak up than to stay silent and watch the same problems continue.
Ok let's get into it.
@FNCreate thank you for trying.
However, it may be time to start implementing stronger enforcement against bad actors. Measures such as IP bans, tax ID bans, or hardware bans should be considered for creators who repeatedly abuse the system and clearly demonstrate they do not care about the ecosystem.
There should also be consideration for requiring some form of identity or biometric verification for creator accounts. Systems like this could significantly reduce the ability for individuals to create large networks of alternate accounts used to manipulate the system.
Unfortunately, it took less than a week for the spam creators to figure out how to evade the new detection systems and resume doing exactly what they were doing before. Not long after, the same projects were again occupying top positions.
I want to tell myself to “give it time,” but the reality is that we are now three years into UEFN, and concerns about bad actors existed even before it launched.
So the question many legitimate creators are asking is simple.
How long will it take before honest creators truly have a fair opportunity to thrive in this ecosystem?
For years, creators have watched individuals repeatedly ignore or violate guidelines, rise to the top, and remain there. Even if they eventually become rule abiding, that doesn’t change how they got there or the opportunities the system failed to give to honest creators during that time.
It leaves many creators wondering whether playing by the rules was ever the right decision, when the people ignoring them faced little to no real consequences.
I truly appreciate that steps are being taken and that feedback is being heard. That matters.
But enforcement has to be strong enough to actually deter abuse. Otherwise the same cycle will continue.
I care deeply about this ecosystem and would genuinely love to help improve it in any way possible. If that meant contributing directly to solving these issues, I would gladly do so.
Thank you again for listening and making efforts to address the problem.
@TimSweeneyEpic, I would genuinely appreciate if you could take a look into this. It’s incredibly frustrating watching a platform I care deeply about continue to face these issues while legitimate creators, many of whom I call friends, are the ones who suffer the consequences.
