Kids give up on sports when it’s no longer fun. When parents & coaches pressure kids to over-perform, they want to quit playing. You can encourage & support, but don’t constantly make a kid feel criticized or undervalued.

@avillanueva3rd I have had a Cooper Flagg cosmic /25 auto sell for $9,400 on DC and not get paid. They relisted TWELVE days later and it sold for $7,200 and hasn’t been paid in 4 days yet. Doubt it gets paid and my card just keeps declining in value.
@GrandSalamiSC I got a 1/1 of a 14 year old yesterday. I forget his name. Will have to wait for them to come in. But I did hit these and am not out about any of them 😁
@Seth_3773 Lifelong Die hard cubs fan. Named my son after Ryno. Went to opening day last Thursday at Wrigley. From TX. I’d love to have them in my memorabilia room.
I have a secret to share
After your first $2–$3 million, a paid off home and a good car, there is no difference in quality of life between you and Jeff Bezos. Both of you have limited amount of time on earth; you have twice if not more than Jeff, so you are richer than him. A cheeseburger is a cheeseburger whether a billionaire eats or you do.
Money is nothing but a piece of paper or a number in your app. Real life is outdoors.
Become financially independent; that’s usually 2–3mil. Have good food. Enjoy the relations. Workout. Sleep well. Call your parents. That’s all there is to life. Greed has no end.
Repeat after me: Time is the currency of life. Money is not.
Sooner you figure this out, happier you will be.
People work 8–10 hours a day, 5 days a week for someone else’s profit.
Then they spend 4 hours at night staring at screens.
Basically, living for weekends + 4 weeks PTO on repeat until age 65.
While the government takes 25–30% their income.
And we’re told this is “normal.”
