@starmexxx Mac mini can run very small models. Yes you don’t have to pay ongoing fees but you will absolutely notice a difference in quality and speed. You would need the Mac Studio with the m3 ultra chip and 96GB unified memory to run models that are akin to gpt 4 or Claude 3
