On Saturday, 6th December 2025, our Head of Programs, Jonathan Ndege, donating blood as we
joined the @RKyadondo and @RKitante in partnering with the @RotaryKlaCity at the Rotary Annual Medical Camp, extending life-saving services and standing for healthier communities.
District Governor, @GKitakule, @rotaryd9213 praised the unified effort under this year’s Rotary theme #UniteforGood
“Rotary is here to make a difference, & we are grateful to all partners who continue to
align with our mission in disease prevention & maternal health,” he said.
A major highlight of the medical camp was the donation of an infant incubator by @RKitante , and @OCTOPUSMEDICA also donated a nebuliser to to Kamwokya Christian Caring Community Health Centre, a facility that has grown from delivering 1 baby at a time to 6-7 daily.
Over 1,000 Kamwokya residents received FREE healthcare, including screenings for hypertension, diabetes, safe circumcision, antenatal care, and more.
In Uganda’s informal settlements, healthcare is still a luxury for too many. On this day, it wasn’t.
Healthcare is a right, not an event.
From cervical & breast cancer screening to optical and dental care, the medical camp brought hope right to Kamwokya’s doorstep. We saw scores of residents walk in, line up, and access tests they’ve waited years.
On October 28th, we delivered hope, dignity, and love to Support Disabled Children Ggaba with hygiene items, nutrition, and lots of love.

"Having a child with disability is not easy but a sacred duty to serve." Betty Nankabirwa, ED, Support Disabled Children Ggaba.
As #BashGlobalInitiative, we are profoundly grateful to answer that call alongside her. Thank you, Betty, for leading with love and faith.
"We urinate every day… and diapers are very expensive. Every child you see here relies on them,"
Betty Nankabirwa, Founder & Executive Director of SDCG, shared these words while recognizing our health outreach and the heavy lifting we carried out.
During our Health & Well-being outreach at Support Disabled Children Ggaba (SDCG), we spent time trimming the children’s hair. A simple act for hygiene, but oh, the joy it sparked in every child’s eyes.
Under the inspiring leadership of Mariam Mujadid, the #BashGlobalInitiative team & volunteers began the day rolling up their sleeves, sweeping the premises, scrubbing floors, folding and arranging clothes with care, & wiping down every table.
Heavy lifting for the caretakers!
On Tuesday, Octoner 28, under our Health & Well being Programme, we spent the day with children at
Support Disabled Children Ggaba (SDCG) sharing smiles, love, care & laughter.
“If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” Mother Teresa
