@OSoverrated@DPrello Federal law and state law bans and restrict access to SNAP, SSI, housing for undocumented immigrants. Democrats did not overturn that law.
@OSoverrated@DPrello I've googled it, researchers and data analyst have done research into it. There is exceptionally little evidence to support the claim that they got free food, housing, healthcare, phones and/or cash. And undocumented immigrant is equivalent to illegal alien.
@JLeaP64@king_Juratovac If only there was evidence of that... It's weird how you deflect but don't refute my characterization of Trump, I guess that means you agree with it. Through implication at least.
@jimaggie That's a really bad analogy. How is speaking, picketing, being a journalist, or practicing a religion not covered under the first amendment but only quill pens were. Do you think writing with a quilt pen was the only way to exercise you 1A rights?
@DPrello You do know us proving healthcare is cheaper than the government not paying for undocumented immigrants healthcare, right? You also know tracking devices are not phones, right? And you also know the overwhelming majority of illegal aliens are ineligible for public housing, right?
@ChristineG8114@Marley2213@jstdonut That is a rare insult, I have to commend that, even when it's coming from a person who shortened Christine to Chrissy.
@SweetSalty51951 Still showing your inability to refute my claims. Choosing insults over intellect. It's an odd choice, but you do you. What about my statement is incorrect?
@SweetSalty51951 It's odd you choose the route of insults instead of refutation. You're kind of showing your inability to defend your claim. Why is that? What about my statements is factually incorrect?
@JoAnnHanna20@ExpertBrad@ZacksJerryRig@LindnerCtrHope@LauraLoomer Red states lead in affordability and housing, but have the highest OPM poverty rates. Blue states lead in healthcare and education, but have higher rates of homelessness. Neither blue states or red states have any real difference in terms of crime or public disorder.
@JoAnnHanna20@ExpertBrad@ZacksJerryRig@LindnerCtrHope@LauraLoomer Even in purple states or red states, R&D and education outcomes overwhelmingly (except for very few outliers) exists within blue cities or blue metros like Houston, Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, Orlando, Tampa, Charlotte, Atlanta.
@JoAnnHanna20@ExpertBrad@ZacksJerryRig@LindnerCtrHope@LauraLoomer There's a reason why blue states overwhelmingly outrank red states when it comes to healthcare, life expectancy, health quality, median income, education, research, innovation, food safety, and to an extent, infrastructure and public transport. Although outliers like TX exist.
@JoAnnHanna20@ExpertBrad@ZacksJerryRig@LindnerCtrHope@LauraLoomer The issue is, we're spending more in taxes on wars than we are on public infrastructure and social safety nets like nationalized healthcare which would be much cheaper and significantly better but many republicans and some center-leaning democrats heavily oppose.
@JoAnnHanna20@ExpertBrad@ZacksJerryRig@LindnerCtrHope@LauraLoomer California is still the largest agricultural and economic producer. It also is the largest import hub for non-oil cargo and a pretty large oil producing state for a blue state. New York also still has many, many companies in it. Democrats love taxes because we love solutions.
@JoAnnHanna20@ExpertBrad@ZacksJerryRig@LindnerCtrHope@LauraLoomer I doubt you could even correctly define communism, we currently have no communist people in public office or running for public office. You are vastly overestimating the amount of companies that have completely left blue states like California.
@morrismd1918 Also, that top 5% is based solely on federal income taxes, not any other type of tax. And even if we take the broadest definition of the 5%, people making under 125k a year would still be paying more relative to their income after taxation if considering overall wealth.
