@jane_brewer @MrJamesMay I was the same way! One tip that really helped me is to find a constellation that's really easy to spot that orients you. James' picture has a good one with Orion, specifically Orion's belt. The three super bright stars in a straight line are really easy to see on a clear night.

1. The screen is glass (rather than plastic that gets scuffed if you cough on it)
2. The display is laminated to said glass
3. It has really good brightness
