Haha, maybe poor choice of words - I think going for it means not making Europe will be deemed a missed opportunity…they are not investing to just survive or even mid table again…this seems like a big step up..….I think a lot of us have similar expectations this year and that’s the uncomfortable part!

100% we are clearly going for it…I think MB and the team have crunched the numbers and our chances are better than ever of staying up - arguably because of a weaker set of promoted sides this year, but also looking at the last three sets of promoted teams, where 7 of 9 went straight back down - so the logic would be that we have two years of prem money to start thinking a little more optimistically and putting it to work to kick us on to a European spot..so building a stacked squad for the next two campaigns is classic MB/Giles Brentford…

It’s uncharted territory for us as fans, so extra nervy and exciting times!!
