The benefits of fitness and nutrition aren't discussed enough in mainstream media or highlighted by your GP, so it never becomes common knowledge. Many don't believe or care to research further. I hope to have some influence on changing this in my lifetime.
If you've tried stretching, foam rolling, lacrosse/tennis ball, theracane, and are still in discomfort, you probably need the strength, intuition, and dexterity of human hands.
If you have pain in the saggital plane (up and down/forward and backwards movement), try building strength in the frontal and transverse planes (towards or away from the body/rotation).
"Slow down" might be the most underrated coaching cue of all time.
Meanwhile, cues like "speed up," "be more aggressive," and "attack the bar/ground/wall/etc." aren't far behind.
Coaching isn't just about knowing what to say; it's more about knowing when and to whom to say it.
No you CAN'T eat the same way you've been eating and live the same way you've been living and expect CHANGE. You can't stay the same and expect CHANGE...CHANGE...CHANGE.
