the more time i spend learning about @Moshdottrade, the more i want to see what people build with it
Mosh Mondays episode 2 was a banger. great panel, honest conversations about the trenches, and builders sharing what they’re working on
for anyone who missed it, here’s the breakdown:
@GMB_XBT brought up something that really stuck with me. even a team with good intentions can have its launch ruined by somebody who gets in early, controls a chunk of supply, and dumps into the community
the builders take the reputational hit and the people who supported them get burned. a lot of us have experienced that
that’s why i find Mosh interesting. the launch bundle is transparent, contributors’ capital is locked in agent vaults, and they can earn from trading fees. it gives people a different reason to support a project early and stay involved
@StevenVinyl, head of ecosystem at @Moshdottrade, gave us a deeper look behind the scenes
his work continues after launch: helping teams with bundles, getting funded, and staying involved as they build. getting a token live is one step. having support for what comes next matters
he also explained why the market-making agents won’t blindly bid every dip. they operate across longer timeframes, and you wouldn’t want their strategies changing every time somebody gets emotional in telegram
the team is analyzing each launch to improve the app, contracts, and trading strategies. Mosh launched on September 23, so we’re still seeing the early versions of what they’re building
a few ecosystem updates from Steven:
- @ajlacapital is the first incubator helping teams with launch design, funding, and distribution, with more curators expected
- $BUN was included among the first 18 tokens in Moonshot’s Robinhood Chain launch
- V1 plans include holder fees, countdowns, whitelist editing, more counter-assets, pre-launch bundle trading, and early launch cancellation
he mentioned a rough one-to-four-week window for the upcoming work, with announcements to follow. a lot being cooked
@PudgyPops777 also highlighted the learning curve: some trading tools flag locked bundles as insider-controlled supply. understanding what that allocation represents matters
then we got into the builders:
@0xfabs explained how @ConvictionLock puts commitment onchain through token locks. flexible locks allow early exits with penalties, and he said 90% of those penalties reward eligible remaining lockers. they’re also building community profiles, achievements, and locked airdrops
@PudgyPops777 shared plans for @TheBorkKing and a larger strategy game with DeFi elements. he said team fees are already going into game reward pools, and he’s open to bringing other Mosh projects into those games
@myMemeArcade walked us through their live Initial Bundle Offering and All Stars game, connecting trading fees, prize pools, staking rewards, and token burns
as somebody who spent a lot of time in web3 gaming, that really got me thinking about what people could build here
we also shared our plans for @froshonmosh
our first funding attempt raised over 100,000 BUN against a 500,000 BUN target. we’re planning another attempt while building through Mosh Mondays, Frosh Fridays, and helping people discover projects
we also want a charitable component tied to our trading fees. supporting frog conservation feels pretty fitting
@0xSilentSigma closed with his weekly $BUN supply overview, tracking top holders and locked supply across the ecosystem. his takeaway was continued accumulation and more BUN being locked despite the price dip
what i enjoyed most was hearing people explain what they’re building and where they want to take it
big love to everyone who came through. give the builders a follow and check out their work
we’ll keep doing this every Monday. see you in the Mosh pit
