Yes, this happened to me. I was with AT&T for years. Like, since cell phones first came out. And then one day, they started raising my monthly bill. Went from $79 for 2 phones to $98. Then a year later to $112, and then finally, $159. So I switched. Got new phones, got my mother a phone. The plan has more benefits, the price is locked in, and it is cheaper.
