🚨BREAKING: Governor Tim Walz just delivered a short but powerful prime-time address regarding ICE's cruel behavior over the last few days in Minnesota.
After highlighting the recent shooting of Renee Nicole Good by ICE and slamming the Trump administration for not conducting an impartial investigation, instead trying to "attack the victim and her family," he said, "Four things I want you to hear as you watch the news and look out for your neighbors."
1) Donald Trump "wants this chaos" and "more violence," urging Minnesotans to protest loudly and urgently, but peacefully: "We cannot let violence prevail."
2) We are not powerless. "You have an absolute right to peacefully film ICE agents as they conduct these activities. Carry a phone with you at all times; if you see these ICE agents in your neighborhood, take out that phone and hit record," asking to help create a database of the atrocities for "future prosecution."
3) Accountability is coming at the voting booth and in the court. "We will reclaim our communities from Donald Trump."
4) Walz emotionally expressed how proud but not surprised he is of how Minnesotans have responded, stating that they believe in the rule of law and the dignity of all people: "We are an island of decency and a country being driven towards cruelty; we will remain an island of decency, of justice, of community, of peace."
TIM WALZ IS A NATIONAL TREASURE!!! 💙
"These are the times in which legends are born, or slain."

@AmyPisces …and not string people along. Then quite a bit later they reached out and I had to shut up about it. So then apparently I don’t go on sm at all 😂. It’s been what, a year? 😱
@AmyPisces I had an NDA for #Ahsoka & #Spartacus and those were really protracted secrets to keep & I never want to be the one who gaffs it. I honestly thought DA had moved on & while I didn’t want to be the bearer of sad news it felt selfishly refreshing at the time to be able to comment
