This is a switch of play rondo from https://t.co/lciQlqgz7Y. This rondo is designed to develop quick and intelligent switches of play in possession. The game begins with a 3v1 in one area of the grid while two additional defenders are positioned to screen the central zone. Possession players must complete a set number of passes (e.g., 5) before attempting to switch play to the opposite side. Switches can be made in two ways - via the wide unopposed players for 1 point, or through the central zone for more points due to the difficulty and risk involved. This setup encourages decision-making, timing, and awareness of space and pressure.

This is a Break Out Rondo from https://t.co/lciQlqh6Xw. The practice begins with a 4v2 rondo inside a central grid. The 4 players in possession must retain the ball, completing a set number of passes. If the 2 defensive players win possession, the 4 outside players become live, and a 6v4 is played out inside a larger grid. The attacking team must then look to create space and progress the ball through the larger grid to maintain possession and look for scoring opportunities, while the defending team aims to regain possession.

This is an unopposed finishing drill from https://t.co/lciQlqgz7Y. To start, four players are positioned in a diamond shape on the edge of the penalty area. The drill focuses on quick passing combinations and movement to create shooting opportunities. Players work through various combinations, ensuring that all four players are involved in the build-up before a shot on goal.
The ball is played between the players in different sequences, such as one-touch passes, wall passes, or quick give-and-go’s. After completing the combination, the player receiving the final ball takes a shot at goal. This drill emphasizes precise passing, movement off the ball, and clinical finishing.

This is a combinations and finishing practice from https://t.co/lciQlqgz7Y. This practice focuses on developing quick 1–2 interactions between wide and central players, leading into a shot on goal. Play begins with a pass from a wide player into a central player, who combines with a one-two before finishing. The emphasis is on sharp passing, timing of movement and efficient finishing after combination play.
After completing the first action, the wide player follows their pass and moves into the central position to become the next attacker. The sequence is then repeated on the opposite side, with the new central player combining with the opposite wide player before finishing. This creates a continuous rotation, ensuring all players experience both wide and central roles while maintaining rhythm and repetition.
