Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin will be activated today, a source tells me. Griffin went on the IL on May 31 with a forearm strain.

The biggest question regarding whether the Pirates will be sellers or not pertains to whether they will re-sign Brandon Lowe or not. Personally, IMO it will be a major gut punch if they don't re-sign him. Like, WTF did you expend all that effort to acquire him just to trade him?
