Keep an eye out for these little red-and-black leafhoppers โ easy to mistake for ladybirds at first glance, often spotted on leaves or stems. Worth a closer look if youโre out walking in the park .
If youโve swallowed a black fly while out walking in the park today it was probably one of these ๐ a St Markโs fly
Good news: they donโt bite
Theyโre named after St Markโs Day (25th April), when they make their annual, slightly chaotic appearance, #StMarksFly#HawthornFly
As of 1pm today this tree is still down from yesterday. People unable to get past including the local cycle group. @lpool_LSSL@lpoolcouncil@CroxtethHall@LiverpoolParks you may want to take a look the leaning one on the right while you are there to save a return journey ๐
