@transportgovuk Cycling lanes must be wide enough to avoid roadside clutter/debris & drainage etc.
They must be cleared weekly/monthly.
They must have markings beyond the lane to keep cars away at the correct distance.
Be smooth!
A line defining the gutter & garbage trail is not a cycling lane!

@transportgovuk In the past this has always ended up with councils painting silly/cheap white lines at the side of the road and calling them cycle lanes. These are ridiculous as the actually make it worse as cars then do not overtake with the correct distance and force cyclists into the gutter.

@binstedman When presenters and healthcare workers refer to 'baby' and 'mother' and don't use 'the' or regular pronouns ie her baby, his/their mother etc. They reduce everyone to morons in a phony attempt to be friendly - grrrrrrrr.
