The frustration should be directed to the political head, and these artists have the festival to push messages against corruption

@joymayanne Since you already accepted the gig and if it's binding legally, then look for loopholes to change the system. Ideally, don't accept gigs used for someone's indirect political returns, but seeing it as a platform, then use it to voice out advocacies challenging the system
