Today I took a call from a Leather Archives & Museum rep. They're going to interview me when they get to Portland in October.

I went back to sleep and fell right back into the series of nightmares I'd been having and continued to have until 6pm when I dragged my ass out of bed.

Then I took Fefe the Chihuahua for a drive to Goodwill to donate more stuff. We shared a meal at McDonald's because it was close and it's less expensive than all the other overpriced fast food.

I've been listening to Donald Trump promise a financial reward for electing Republicans, insist we're in the best economy known to man ever bigly, call affordability a "Democrat hoax," accuse an Olympian of something his no-bid contractor admits doing, assure us that the price of gas will go down after the midterms, scoff at AI experts who think we should slow down, and threaten to destroy the Kennedy Center if his name doesn't go on it.

This reminds me of life about a century ago...

I'm kinda tore up about it. More than I expected. He's at least the 6th important living mammal in my life to die since 2022. I hope to schedule a weekend of absolute ancient Greek mourning style wailing once I have the leisure. I do not yet have the leisure.

Most of the people replying to you and expressing hate for not just this woman but all women, are men.

The women who support Lindsay don't support the killing of her children. They support medical professionals and others take new mothers seriously when they confess to post partum depression.

It's not just feeling blue. It's not just something that women make up to get away with murder. It's more like C-PTSD, which can drive its sufferers, often veterans, to do horrible things.

But women are "supposed" to find endless delight in pregnancy and child rearing. This case proves even women who dote on their children are capable of violence if not helped by their support systems, including medical professionals... and men.

If I can buy a house it will be my dream house because I do not expect to ever own a home. Maybe I won't own it but it will be everything I dream of in a home. I can live with that. I just wish it wasn't a dream.
