We’re allowed to grow, learn and change our opinions. People with a fixed mindset, with absolute likes or dislikes, end up hating too many things. The more we read, the more we understand, we realise that ‘always’ and ‘never’ are just words in the dictionary. Nothing is definite.
Israel doesn’t discriminate. It bombs everything. Be it a hospital in Gaza or a school in Iran. Iran funds terror which kills innocents, and their only aim? Max casualties. The good vs evil equation goes right out the window. Everything’s fair in war- logically understandable, m-
From inviting Najam Sethi on his channel and spewing anti India rhetorics to constantly undermining our position against the Pakis, Karan Thapar has done it all.
He’s an Indian who never disappoints Pakistan.
Watching him get schooled by @ShashiTharoor offers catharsis. 😌
@ARanganathan72 Increasing the salary shall help Jawans more than abolishing tax, sir. Abolishing tax for them and offering to pay the deficit, is more about making ourselves feel better, rather than showing our gratitude.
@spkalantri Indeed in medicine today, undergraduation is all about getting postgraduation.
And Post graduates are more worried about getting a Doctorate than being an actual doctor.
A grim, sad reality. Almost no one is above it.
The only reason I remembered that today’s Dhanteras because mom called in the morning. Does it even feel like Diwali is in 2 days? Medicine will consume you if you let it. But what if that’s what you wanted?

@shenuyanka Congratulations ma’am.
It’s the 21st century and I hate having to ask this question, but a few of my seniors were discussing Cardio and they told me that between an equally efficient male and female cardiologist, patients still prefer the male doc. What do you think, ma’am?
Branches which are overly dominated by one gender are pretty much toxic for the opposite sex.
At one end of the spectrum is Obs/Gynae and at the other, Surgery/Ortho.
Obviously, exceptions exist.
Things that we think will guarantee happiness but do not:
AIR 1 ❌
Medicine/ Radio/ Surgery seat ❌
Money ❌
Love ❌
There is NO guarantee in life. Remember that and you might be happy.
‘You were our hero.’ That is where the problem lies. For us, academics is the perfect way to judge a person. Haven’t we seen what this promotes? Years of slogging, rote learning while being confined and isolated is detrimental not only for mental health but also our personality.
Not even achieving AIR 1 can save you from it; toxicity in medicine is real.
Something is really wrong with the education system.
You were our hero, RIP Dr. Navdeep Singh (NEET-UG 2017, AIR 1)
Kolkata Police in action. Not against criminals. Not against rapists. Not against murderers. Against Doctors. Against students. Against peaceful protestors. Thank you for your service. We know you’re pawns in a bigger game. Nevertheless.
