Buckingham Palace announced on May 30 that the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge would be in Wales on June 4. The visit will have been planned long before then. It’s not accurate to say they “declined” the invitation to Lilibet’s birthday. They had jubilee related responsibilities.
NEW
Harry and Meghan will join senior royals for the first time in more than two years at today’s Trooping the Colour. They have been
invited by the Queen to join family members watching from the Major General’s Office overlooking the Horse Guards parade ground #PlatinumJubilee
I’ll be on @7News#boston tomorrow at 5am covering the #troopingthecolour and the #platinumjubilee. The BP balcony appearance will be a bit less crowded this year, since it’s just working royals and their offspring (HM’s orders).
Directed by the late, great & much-celebrated Roger Michell (Notting Hill, The Duke).
Elizabeth: A Portrait in Parts is In Cinemas Now & streaming on Prime Video June 1.
