This is exactly how drug manufacturers and PBMs ALWAYS WIN at the expense of the patient, tax payers, and local pharmacies. It cost my pharmacy over $1300 to bring in one box of this medication only to be reimbursed about $1275 by the PBM.

Anyone else paid attention to Prime Therapeutics new tactic for high AWP spread drugs? They act as a "discount card", charge the pharmacy $5.15 to do this, pay nothing, and make the patient pay full cost....easy to miss if you aren't paying attention!
