Other option is getting a pan of warm water and dump around the door opening. Sometimes this can release the weather seal just enough to get the door open.
Grab a microfiber towel and then wipe off the seal and jamb

My issue is as a recent example, a dealer charged $30k for a Chevy Volt pack swap on a 7+ year old volt.

Rotors and drums are able to be resurfaced usually at least once.
Older vecholes were designed to have the brake rotor and drum turned multiple times but with modern vehicles, usually they limit that fun to one time.

If you saw how UPS packs trailers and transports stuff, it’s a taxing anything makes it anywhere in one piece.
