Once I saw the news about the Orioles playing Clash Royale, it was obvious the season was in trouble.

The @masnOrioles app is insanely disappointing for year two of being able to watch Orioles games. Among the issues:

1. Often 1-2 minutes delayed. Worse than typical streaming delays.

2. No Picture in Picture mode to allow multi-tasking if I have to leave the app to do something else on my phone.

3. The app says “Live” even when it’s not live (like if I leave the app for a few minutes). There is no way to catch up once I come back to the appwithout exiting out of the stream.

4. Every time you exit the stream, you are forced to watch a commercial when you restart the stream even if I was just watching the live game.

So combining all of these things:

if I leave the app to send a text, either the game is delayed when I return with no way of catching up (and even if I catch up it’s several pitches behind the live game) OR I’m forced to watch another 30 second commercial even though I was just watching the game (which causes me to miss 30 more seconds of live action).
