Unpopular opinion but he’s absolutely correct.

I didn’t want him to stay but 8th was a very good achievement that year.

Completely disagree.

Defending is an art form in itself and it was a great game to watch just from the perspective of us grinding it out with a solid display.

We also had more shots and much more chances than Brighton even with that small possession %.

What’s the issue?

Moshiri is the one that’s crippled us and Kenwright has had to take an unfair share of the criticism for that in recent years.

Look at where we were in the 90s/very early 2000’s to where we were just a few years later consistently finishing in the top 8 on a limited budget.

Kenwright did a solid job. Yes, he made mistakes along the way. Yes, he should’ve let go sooner.

But his legacy shouldn’t suffer.

Not that I want to start a debate on this today but Kenwright was never our biggest problem & he did a good job for the most part.

I grew up watching us play in Europe most years despite us having one of the smallest budgets in the league.

It went to shit when Moshiri joined.

Tell you what as well Bill Kenwright was always happy to face the music as well and chat with fans after games no matter what criticism came his way.
