About forty days ago Uncharted Tycoons opened on Base: an onchain maritime strategy game where thirteen Mediterranean harbors each pay differently, and the route you pick is the whole game. In those weeks you have read the map far harder than we expected.

What we are building is a strategy game whose trade routes carry real weight, and an economy that moves on its own rather than sitting still while you play it. That means competing interests, and it means the map answering back. This update is our first serious run at it, and parts of it are experiments.

New Tycoons get the core loop down fast, buy ingredient, pick port, sail, unload. But what separates a profitable tycoon from others isn't knowing the loop, it's knowing how most things work

Personally I say the last one is the most important because it helps you understand that prices don't magically go up, that means you have to actually learn how the market moves and it's the most important skill you need as a tycoon, trust me.
