Faye was born J'Fhaye Lune and followed the naming conventions of sun kitties. But when he mother took her out of Gyr Abania when the Garleans invaded, Faye's mother changed her name to fit the Hyur naming conventions to fit in more. It was also a silent "F you" to her father.

Faye started as an archer turned Bard, but started to learn conjuring and white mage skills to protect her brother, who was a paladin. She put down the bow and staff after his injury due to guilt and became a dancer focused on protecting and buffing him.
