Just finished watching the Netflix GTA 6 preview.

We didn't see anything that Cyberleeks didn't already reveal except for more story....and maybe too much story.

Technically gorgeous on a PS5. Impressive they can do that much with the hardware.

There were a lot of cut-scenes. They were in game and transitioned smoothly to gameplay, but it was 85% cut scenes and walk and talk.

The edgy "shock" of GTA is kinda gone for me. No amount of F bombs or whatever comes across the same way anymore. Maybe it's that way for a lot of people now.

To me, that left the gameplay. The diving looked good. The shooting looked fine. It's never meant to be an FPS. Everything was professional, high fidelity. But nothing made me go 'wow' either. I wanted to see more of the really impressive world and city, but it was character focused.

And yet at the same time, I kept thinking to myself: I want to go back to Night City and Cyberpunk 2077.

Maybe this theme is done for me, personally. Feels like a bygone era in a way.

WOW. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, a public broadcaster, reportedly sent an internal memo to staff that read:
