@PeterSchiff Raising #interest rates are the government's way of consuming that excess cash, to reduce demand and rebalance #inflation. Most governments overspent to score political points. Bill #Morneau memoires show #JT doubled the approved max spend during pandemic. One of many examples.
@PeterSchiff Current inflation is just the delayed reaction of the demand curve due to supply chain disruptions and lockdowns. Re-opening created an increase in demand followed (artificially buoyed by government spending) with slow supply response which created today's current inflation.
@PeterSchiff When the first 100 dollars was printed and loaned out, more money had to be printed for the interest payments. The very premise of a debt based system, the one that has funded your purchase of gold. It's unlikely the debt ceiling will ever stop increasing.
@unusual_whales The politics around this will likely be prohibitive on this. 1000s of unemployed males is not something the US government wants (unless its to reduce inflation)
@unusual_whales Multi-Family home like a Triplex/Fourplex and collect rent until a rate Pivot is in sight. Secure a line of credit and invest into QQQ when pivot direction is clear. You don't need to time the bottom - catch the wave up! 2023 is a wash.
@thejustinwelsh Quantum entanglement is when two particles link together in a certain way no matter how far apart they are in space. This suggests a quantum "realm" where everything is somehow connected. I think it's an interesting analogy to the concept of Prayer in religion. #science#religion
