I have a sign-in issue with the Grok Bot client. https://t.co/DGP1l4Lyn8 itself works from Austria, but the Grok Bot client does not. 🇦🇹

Without a VPN I get “Access blocked, please contact support.”
With a VPN using a USA exit node it works immediately.

I already have a https://t.co/DGP1l4Lyn8 account and signed in with email and password. I am paying, so this is not a billing problem.

Who is blocking the Grok Bot client from Austria?
• EU / Austria restriction?
• Austrian ISP / IP reputation?
• SpaceXAI / Grok Bot auth?
• A check that only a US VPN exit IP can pass?

If this is a regional or policy restriction, please route it to @GlobalAffairs. If nobody can answer, please escalate to @elonmusk.

I just want to use the Grok Bot client from Austria.

Does anyone of you have an idea why this could happen?

[Cohere @cohere]

While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected.

Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions.

Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent.

But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models?

We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem.

‼️ Proton is hosting a map of 300,000+ Flock surveillance device locations that Flock tried to get taken down.

Researcher Joshua Michael says he pulled them from Flock's own systems via a token left open to anyone.

Proton calls the takedown "an attempt to suppress information."

@poteto I want to be able to only share specific bots with my team and not all bots.

@mattyp It wrote code for me while I was writing code for someone else 🤣

@WatcherGuru Fuck the french government and @EmmanuelMacron. They’re incompetent and ruining France. I hope they all go to hell.

[Raphael @TheFirstRaph]

@elonmusk @grok @bot can you report this bug?

[Raphael @TheFirstRaph]

@elonmusk There is a persistent timeline bug on the Android app. It randomly jumps to the top when pressing "Load more" or upon opening the app. This causes users to lose their spot and miss a lot of posts.
