We, the elite, figured out Nigeria ages ago. At the top, our children are intermarrying and living large. Those at the bottom move from ethnic and tribal superiority contests to trading religious insults, too busy to remember that we, the elite, are one united, undivided family.

Congratulations Doc, amazing feat.

I am pleased to announce that I have been appointed a Visiting Fellow of Practice by Oxford University. I will be supporting the Government Outcomes Lab at the Blavatnik School of Government, part-time, for the 2024 academic session. To God be the glory.

People have been managing to survive - taking loan from loan shark to sort the ones they took from another.

The survival threshold will soon break and when this happens the poor will have nothing left to eat but the rich.

The CEO of @Sterling_Bankng has apologised on behalf of the bank. The handler of their Twitter account is quite often brilliant. On the occasion of the Easter message, he/she got it badly wrong. It happens. I don’t believe that it was malicious. I therefore accept the apology.

In February 2020, we had a degree of optimism that the world was better prepared to respond to COVID-19. Two years later, we gathered to discuss lessons learned that might help us prevent the next pandemic. https://t.co/k5zZndEebw

Things can always be improved, but if you need everything to be perfect, you'll never get anything done

You get started with what you have and improve along the way

Set yourself a deadline and stick to it.
