BANGKOK DECLARES 3 DISTRICTS FLOOD-DISASTER AREAS

Bangkok authorities have declared Nong Chok, Suan Luang and Khan Na Yao as flood-disaster areas after days of heavy rain caused widespread flooding and disrupted travel.
Thailand’s Meteorological Department is warning of continued heavy to very heavy rain, with risks of further flooding through September 27.

JUST IN: UKRAINE STRIKES ANOTHER RUSSIAN OIL REFINERY

Ukraine has reportedly struck the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai with drones, with a large fire reported at the facility. Russian regional authorities confirmed a drone attack in the area, while independent reporting linked one of the fires to the refinery.
The development comes a day after operations at Russia’s Perm Oil Refinery were halted following a Ukrainian drone strike that reportedly damaged pipelines, storage facilities and processing units. Perm is Russia’s seventh-largest refinery by processing volume.

UKRAINIAN FORCES SHOOT DOWN RUSSIAN DRONE WITH MINIGUN

Ukrainian forces have reportedly shot down a Russian drone using a minigun mounted on a military helicopter.
Footage circulating online shows the aircraft engaging a Russian drone in mid-air. Ukraine has increasingly used aircraft equipped with M134 miniguns as part of its efforts to intercept Russian Shahed-type drones.

US NAVY MH-60R SEAHawk TRACKED OVER ARABIAN SEA AMID IRAN TENSIONS

A U.S. Navy MH-60R Seahawk helicopter has reportedly been tracked operating over the Arabian Sea, hundreds of kilometres from the reported U.S. blockade line around Iran, according to Flightradar24 data.
The reported flight comes amid claims that U.S. warships have moved away from positions near the blockade line because of concerns over Iran’s anti-ship ballistic missiles.

ISRAELI FORCES SEAL HOME OF SUSPECTED NEVE TZUF ATTACKER

Israeli forces overnight sealed the home of the Palestinian attacker accused of carrying out this week’s shooting attack in Neve Tzuf, in which Netanel Shukron was killed.
The IDF said the sealing followed a temporary confiscation and sealing order signed by the head of Central Command.

RUSSIA’S DAYTIME DRONE ATTACK HITS CENTRAL KYIV

Russia carried out a daytime drone attack on central Kyiv, killing at least 4 civilians and wounding 7, according to Ukrainian authorities.
The strike followed a series of drone attacks on the Ukrainian capital today that have reportedly wounded at least 40 people.
