Why is the default assumption always that the men are the ones who fuck it up?

What if it’s the woman who fucks it up and hurts him? Pride and ego often stops women from admitting fault, so men frequently end up taking the blame for things they never even did, and unfortunately putting women on undeserved pedestals

A big problem right now is that women get idolized—including women who very much should not be

Men get abused, vilified, and blamed for things they didn’t do their entire lives. It’s not a mystery why so many end up closed off and distant

Men live through an egregious reality a lot of people can’t even comprehend, and the response is still “this is all their fault, they fucked it up, now they can’t love anymore”

He finally loves a woman—often the first person who ever showed him even a fraction of real care—and she destroys him. The only person he’s ever trusted with a heart that’s already been beaten up his whole life

Twenty or thirty years of being told he’s a monster for being a man, watched under a microscope for things he never did, told he’s dangerous, that everything is his fault, that the abuse he took is his fault. Expected to pay for everything, be responsible for everything, take accountability for what he did and didn’t do, die when needed, and stand at the back of the line socially, institutionally and systematically.
