@BeaneaterB Ya know, if you projected Mateo's hits to match Acuna's ABs (195), he'd have just 3 less hits. Point is, Mateo is a part-time player. You go out and try to stay sharp when you don't get the playing time. Mateo has had some solid moments this year when he was playing regularly.

@mike_pavao @MHIIisKing I totally agree with trading Murphy. Way too much money for a backup catcher that has played about 43% of games since he came here. But, they also need to trade Acuna for assets. Everyone knows they will not pay him what he is going to ask. So, smart move is to trade him.

@MHIIisKing Schwelly is not expected back until September, AJSS late July. Even so, you can't have great expectations from them. So, if you count on them to be solid starters and don't make moves to bolster SP by deadline, it could bite them in the ass.

@MHIIisKing Ritchie is going to be a superstar in a couple of years. Glavine, Maddux and Smoltz all struggled the first year. Ricthie has the pitches, he just needs the command.

@MHIIisKing Standings below, as of June 7th. Phools were 9.5 & Fish were 14 back. We've lost series to SF twice, STL twice, swept by SD, NYM and spit a 4 gamer with NYM. Going 10-19 since 6/7 against some really bad teams doesn't give hope to anyone, but the delulu.

@MHIIisKing And you're basing this off what? Your feelings? You should be ore concerned that they are just 5 games away from being totally out of the playoff picture all together. This team currently resembles the 2024 and 25 teams, making April and May look like an anomaly.

@MHIIisKing The offense DID NOT come back to life. It was the Mutts. They scored a bunch of runs due to lots of poor defensive plays.
