Icarus jumped in place as she talked to him again, caught off guard by the too excited and fast goddess. He exhaled, a hand on his chest as he tried to calm down his heartbeat.
"R-right…! Well… I suppose I will wait for you, and clear the area if needed..!"
And another dash in.
"Meet me there then, or rather - wait for me? You're clearly quicker and traveling with less peril than I. . ."
Tilting her head to the side, chuckling.
"Nothing I can't slash out of, for sure. . . but yes. Go, I'll join shortly with Hecuba!"
"Right..! Well I will… wait you here… she is already gone…"
The boy scratched his hair akwardly as he wasn’t expecting to see this much enthusiasm from Melinoe to just gather some seeds. But it was cheering him up after all this time working on his little gadgets.
"I need some eyes in the sky, can't fly yet"
A nod followed, always content to further envelop Icarus in her antics. A quiet reassurance that whatever happened in the past was just that, moons on moons that just carried on - shinning ever bright.
Heracles. I thank you for your kindness and care for my body and soul. It is thanks to you that I can still fight for what is right.
No matter what people say, you’re a hero, and have such humanity that you care even for a simple foolish boy like me.
