Great to see a large crowd descending down on Naughton Park for the Widnes Vikings vs Oldham RLFC game this evening.
The way Widnes have promoted this game must have pulled the heartstrings with many first-time supporters in the queues to see this top-six Championship clash.
Kurt Haggerty says that he has reinforced accountability and cohesion with his Bradford Bulls squad as they prepare to face St Helens at Odsal Stadium tomorrow evening.
His message to his players is to keep climbing βthe mountainβ rather than βfall off the cliffβ by maintaining elite standards on and off the field and to learn from the past two defeats to Leigh and Catalans.
On the controversial decision to incorrectly disallow Ethan Ryanβs try against the Catalans Dragons, Kurt Haggerty emphasised that if Rugby League aspires to be elite, it must operate as an elite organisation.

@andy_mazey I was told over the weekend by one of the interested parties looking to take over York that the first priority would be to solely focus on York and not this farcical situation with Newcastle.
The Bradford Bulls have announced that vice-captain Ryan Sutton put pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal.
The prop forward became an instant fans favourite when first pulling on the red, amber and black β with his work rate and ability to do big minutes leaving a lasting impression on the Bulls supporters.
Ryan joins Joe Mellor, Connor Wynne and Caleb Aekins in committing his future to the club β with Sam Eseh also joining the club in 2027.
Kurt Haggerty has worked hard on securing the services of Ryan for another another two years.
Kurt adding that the reasons for making this a priority retention is down to Ryan fully immersing himself into the club and the DNA of how Bradford under Kurt wants to play.
βHe is a leader within our team and is desperate to bring success to the Bulls. This re-signing is another statement of intent and shows the ambition we have as a club to keep hold of our best players.β
Kurt Haggerty has confirmed that Zac Fulton wonβt need season-ending surgery for a bulging disc and will miss the next three to four games while he recovers.
There is more promising news for the Bradford Bulls in that Jayden Nikorima took part in full training this morning and is available for the game against St Helens on Saturday evening.
Kurt Haggerty doesn't anticipate seeing many changes to his side this week and has challenged his players to climb the mountain rather than fall off the cliff.
Wasn't it exciting to see Ryan Sutton score his first try for the Bradford Bulls on Saturday?
It was his first-class try since August 2022 and a special score to end the nearly four-year try drought.
Connor Wynne feels he's still learning and improving during his firs season with the Bradford Bulls in the Super League.
Connor produced a strong two-try performance against the Catalans Dragons in a game that the Bulls narrowly lost 34-24.
The former Featherstone Rovers winger acknowledges letting the his teammates down in previous games, but says he is determined to build on a strong showing in France and keep improving.

Will Gardiner says that the Bradford Bulls players are disappointed and frustrated with their performance against the Catalans Dragons because they believed they could and should have won the match.
He feels that whilst there was some creativity and good attacking play, those positives were outweighed by the reoccurring theme of costly mistakes.
With the priority now to work on reducing self-inflicted pressure ahead of the visit of St Helens to Odsal Stadium on Saturday evening.

Kurt Haggerty says that his biggest frustration in the Bradford Bulls 34-24 narrow defeat to the Catalans Dragons was the repeated self-inflicted errors, especially in contact moments, offloads, and try-return sets.
Kurt reinforcing that the focus now is for his side to show better concentration and cleaner execution.
The game involved three controversial decisions that went against the Bulls, with Kurt not citing the controversial calls as excuses but rather expressing his frustration over a match decided by fine margins in the South of France.
Kurt confirmed that Sam Hallas (shoulder surgery) and Zac Fulton (bulging disc) are potentially out for the remainder of the season.Β

@BFDG_10 Of course, it is a fair point. A lot of my friends are match officials and they are doing a job with their hands tied behind their back because they canβt see the correct replays.
Kurt Haggerty certainly has a valid grievance about the controversial decision to disallow Ethan Ryanβs try for offside this evening.
There needs to be more consistency in the replays shown to the video referee officials.
I was shown footage of a camera angle which clearly showed Ethan Ryan was onside after the game.
The important question is why was this not shared correctly with the video referee.
The video referee should have access to every camera, every angle.
The current system is completely amateur hour and tinpot.

Kurt Haggerty says that the Bradford Bulls game against the Catalans Dragons is a really important game for his team to show solidarity and unity.
Kurt says his team will play with belief, bravery, and energy in the Perpignan heat as Bradford look to reward their huge travelling support at the Stade Gilbert Brutus with the clubβs first away win on the road.
